Enhance your property

Oak Framed Garages

Traditionally, garages were built solely to store vehicles when they were not in use. Today, garages have evolved into versatile spaces that can serve a wide range of purposes, including secure storage, home workshops, personal gyms, and even extra living accommodation.

Many new garages are constructed as detached buildings, separate from the main property. With clever design, they can include an upper room that works perfectly as a home office, guest suite, or self-contained apartment.

In most cases, planning permission will be required for a new garage, unless it is smaller than 30m² and no higher than 2.5m.

When it comes to construction methods, we recommend the Green Oak Frame approach for its durability, sustainability, and timeless style. However, Timber Frame or traditional brick-and-block construction are also excellent options depending on your budget, aesthetic preferences, and intended use.

Protect your vehicles

oak Framed Car Ports

Normally an open sided structure with a roof whose sole purpose is to protect the vehicles parked underneath from most of the elements. Not as popular as a garage due to their limited use, but that’s not to say they can’t look stunning with a bit of design!

The planning criteria is similar to that of a garage if the size is above 30m2, but with less regulations needing to be applied due to its single usage. Green Oak Frame is the most attractive form of construction for these structures in our opinion!

UTILISE YOUR GARDEN

Oak Framed Garden Rooms

A very popular way nowadays of adding additional valuable space to an existing property without the need for extending. Whether the need is for an annex, studio or workshop, home office, gym, games room, social space, quiet space etc, there really are no limits to what they can be used for!

There are basic designs which can be bought of the shelf, but for an exceptional tailor made or detailed bespoke design, please get in touch and we can guide you through the complete process of design, planning (if required) and construction!

Frame your entrance

Oak Porches & Trusses

As well as creating a great entrance to access your property, they also serve the purpose of restricting the elements from entering in through the same door!

They can be constructed as open sided or fully enclosed, and should they be bigger than 3.0m2 and higher than 3.0m, then planning permission will be required.

What materials to use will depend on the style and age of the property, but getting the design right is where our expertise comes into its own!

Master your chef skills

Outdoor Kitchens &
BBQ shelters

With outdoor entertaining increasing in popularity, why not enjoy the company of family and friends at the same time as perfecting your chef skills! With the unpredictable British weather, installing a kitchen where the chef and guests can keep dry is a must, and it also means it can be utilised the whole year round.

Although there are module kitchens around, they don’t always fit the space or the style required, which is where we like to become involved and put forward a design to suit!
