The client wanted a new porch that felt in keeping with the character of this charming period property, without losing any of its original charm. A bespoke painted timber porch was designed and installed, featuring turned columns and decorative quatrefoil detailing along the fascia — all finished in crisp white to complement the existing stonework and brickwork of the façade. A neat lead roof ties the whole structure together, sitting sympathetically beneath the slate above. Sometimes the right porch doesn’t just shelter a doorway — it frames the entire character of a home.
